CompTIA A + This certification validates the knowledge and skills of entry-level computer service technicians. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors and resellers. CompTIA certification confirms a technician's ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, networking, server client implementations and maintenance. To receive these certifications, students must pass the required exams. CompTIA Network + This section provides both theoretical and practical information about the topics covered on the CompTIA Network+ 2005 exam. Learners will learn the layers of the OSI model, features and functions of network components and the skills needed to install, configure, and troubleshoot basic networking hardware peripherals and protocols. CompTIA Server + CompTIA's Server+ certification offers industry recognition of server administration, troubleshooting, and management. This series equips you with all you need to know in order to pass the 2005 edition of the Server+ test (SK0-002). Learners will be presented with an up-to-date look at current server networking strategies from both the installation and servicing perspectives.
These course sessions will be supported by qualified teachers with set lessons. Once the lessons are complete students can get their skills certified through CompTIA (CompTIA Certifications). These are internationally recognized qualifications demonstrating that you have the skills needed to work in a technical environment to use the most common computer applications efficiently and productively.
